There is easy and then there is cheating to get a head start on baking, this is pretty much cheating in a good way. Super peanut buttery, super soft, and super good. These cookies can go from start to eating in 30 minutes. Try some today and just a little warning you may never go "cheat-less" again!
I should note I am not the inventor of this recipe, I actually am not sure who that is, this is just one of those recipes everyone should know.
Full time: 30 minutes
Make approximately 3 dozen cookies
You will need:
2 eggs
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup peanut butter, creamy
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Let us begin:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line some baking sheets with wax or parchment paper.
In a large bowl dump all the ingredients.
Mix to form a very thick dough.
Place rounded balls roughly 1 tbsp in size on your baking sheet. Spacing 2" apart.
With a fork gently press down on cookie.
Turn fork and press down again to form a criss-cross pattern.
Bake in oven for 12 minutes, or until edges begin to turn a gently golden color.
Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes.
Move to wire rack to cool for 5-10 minutes.
Move to serving plate and enjoy!
