Hong Kong Style Garlic Snap Peas

Sugar snap peas are sweet, crisp, and lend themselves to Asain style flavors very well. One if the simplest but, tastiest was I have enjoyed sugar snap peas was in a Hong Kong resturant. They had simple sauted them with delicate flavors to create a great dish!

Full time: 15 minutes
Serves 4

The needs-

3-4 cups sugar snap peas
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

The know-

In a large saute pan heat olive oil over medium high heat.

While this heats up, remove the ends of your peas. This will allow flavors to fully infuse peas.

Sauté peas in hot oil, tossing occasionally for 5 minutes.

Add in remaining ingredients.

Toss to fully incorporate.

Lower heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes, tossing occasionally.

Move to serving bowl and serve immediately. Cheers-
