Garlic bread is one of those occasional must have flavors. There is something about a nice crusty piece of bread with a soft warm middle, smothered in garlic and butter. Occasionally, I like to glam up the basics and have a little fun while eating. My garlic pull apart bread has a great balance of butter, garlic, and cheese which is sure to please. I know my family loves it, I hope yours will too!
Full time: 35-40 minutes
Serves 4-6
You will need:
1 can french bread dough (or 3 cans biscuit dough)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup dried parsley
Let us begin:
Preheat your oven to 350
Spray a bunt cake pan with cooking spray.
In a zip top bag mix cheese, garlic powder, and parsley.
Cut bread into slices and then into 1" pieces. (if using biscuits try to get 4-6 pieces out of each biscuit)
Working in small batches place dough into zip bag and shake to cover.
Place coated pieces into bunt pan.
Continue coating dough until all pieces are coated and in pan. Depending on the size of your pan, it may look like a thin layer don't worry as long as there are no huge holes.
Pour melted butter across top of bread pieces and swirl pan around to evenly distribute.
Let sit on counter top for 5 minutes. (this allows the warm butter to start the dough rising)
After allowing it to rest. Place in oven and bake 25 minutes or until golden color begins to develop.
Flip out of pan, and then re flip onto serving plate and enjoy!
