Simple Pan Fried Pork Chops

Fried pork chops are a great comfort food. With their crunchy coated outside and moist inside, these chops are sure to please!

Full time: 20 minutes
Serves 4-6

You will need:

6-8 boneless pork chops
2 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tbsp Lawry season salt
1 tsp ground black pepper

Let us begin:

Pour milk into a wide shallow bowl.

In a second bowl mix flour, Lawry, and pepper.

Dunk pork chop into milk.

Carefully move pork chop from milk into flour mixture, flipping over to fully coat.

If desired you can double dip your pork chops for a thicker breading. To do so return pork chop to milk and back into flour.

Lay pork chops on a wire rack and allow to rest.

While they rest place butter and oil into deep sauté pan.

Heat oil and melt butter over medium high heat, once butter is fully melted it is ready for cooking.

Ease 2-3 chops into the oil.

Cook for 5-8 minutes or until golden.

Carefully flip over pork chops and cook additional 3-5 minutes or until nicely crisped.

Remove from oil and let set back on wire rack, to remove excess oil.

When all chops are done, let rest 3-4 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
