Con Queso Cheese Dip

One of the best dips out there is Con Queso and almost everyone loves a good cheesy dip. Con Queso is also one of the simplest things to makes. It takes just a few moments and is sure to be a hit at your next gathering!

Full time: 5-8 minutes
Makes enough for 1 large bag tortilla chips

You will need:

1 lb. Velveeta cheese (store bought or homemade), cubed
1 Jalapeño, diced fine
1 small onion, diced fine
1 large tomato, diced fine and drained
1 tbsp butter

Let us begin:

In a sauce pot melt butter over medium heat, along with onion and jalapeño.

Cook 2-3 minutes, stir continuously.

Add in the chunked cheese and let begin to melt.

Cook 2-3 minutes, stir continuously.

Add in tomatoes and cook just until cheesy is creamy.

Move into warm serving bowl, or dip pot and enjoy!
